Information We Collect:

1. Account and Profile Information:

Registration Details: Your first and last name, phone number (verified via SMS), and email address (verified via email or provided via a verified Google or Apple account). By providing your phone number you consent to receiving SMS notifications regarding your parking sessions: when session starts, is about to end and when it ends, as well as for account validation purposes.
Social Logins: Optionally, you may register or log in using credentials from Google or Apple. In such cases, we only access basic profile information as permitted by your chosen provider.

2. Vehicle Information:

We collect your vehicle's license plate number, color, registration state, and information regarding whether the vehicle is set as your default. This facilitates accurate identification between hosts and drivers.

3. Location Information:

We access and collect location information strictly when you actively use the app, enabling functionalities such as locating and navigating to parking spots. Parkbello does not collect or store location data when the app is not actively in use.

4. Photos:

Photos provided by hosts to showcase parking spots are securely stored and displayed within the app to assist drivers in finding suitable parking.

5. Payment Information:

Payment transactions are securely processed by our trusted partner Stripe. We securely transmit credit and debit card information directly to Stripe, which handles all storage and processing. Parkbello retains records of transactions, including fees and transaction amounts, for internal accounting and customer service purposes.

6. Address Verification Information:

When listing a parking spot, your physical address is collected solely to verify ownership. We mail you a unique 6-digit verification code and a QR code, both of which are used within the app to confirm the authenticity of the parking spot listing.

7. Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) Token:

We collect and store your device’s FCM token to facilitate push notifications related to parking sessions and app-related updates.

Use of Collected Information:

Parkbello uses the information we collect exclusively for the following purposes:

Registration and Authentication: Verifying user identity and facilitating account management.
Personalization: Enhancing your user experience by personalizing content and services.
Service Provision: Managing parking listings, navigating to parking spots, handling parking sessions, and coordinating communications between hosts and drivers.
Financial Transactions: Processing secure payments and transferring funds through our integration with Stripe.
Customer Communication: Sending notifications, confirmations, updates, promotional offers, and responding to support inquiries via SMS, email, or push notifications.
Security: Preventing fraud, enhancing security measures, and maintaining operational integrity.

Sharing of Your Information:

We share your personal data with carefully selected third-party service providers essential to Parkbello’s operations:

Stripe: To manage secure payment transactions and connected accounts for hosts, including verification of personal and banking details as required by Stripe.
Firebase and Google Cloud: For secure data storage, authentication, data management, and the provision of real-time notifications.
Google Maps and Apple Maps: To provide efficient navigation services to parking locations.
Social Media Platforms (Google): For optional account registration and authentication.

We do not, and will never, sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data Security:

Parkbello is committed to protecting your personal data. We employ industry-leading security standards provided by Firebase and Stripe to store and process your data securely. Within our app, sensitive data such as authentication tokens and payment information are encrypted and securely managed to minimize security risks.

Data Retention:

We retain your personal data indefinitely to maintain comprehensive transaction records, support accounting accuracy, and resolve potential disputes. Upon request, we can deactivate your account, rendering it inactive; however, certain archival information related to transactions and vehicle details will be retained solely for record-keeping purposes.

Minors’ Privacy:

Parkbello is intended for use by the general public, including minors who may legally drive or assist adult users. However, we do not knowingly or intentionally collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will immediately take measures to delete such information from our systems.

Your Rights and Choices:

As a Parklbello user, you have the right to:

Review, update, or change your personal details (name, email, phone number) directly within the app.
Add, modify, or remove your vehicle information, parking spots, and payment methods. Note that some archived data related to transactions and vehicle identification remains stored for internal record-keeping purposes.
Request account deletion by clicking "Delete Account" in the "Account" section within the app, and following the provided steps.

Jurisdiction:

Parkbello is exclusively available in the United States and adheres strictly to all applicable federal and state privacy laws and regulations.

Updates to This Privacy Policy:

Parkbello reserves the right to amend or update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will become effective immediately upon posting the revised policy within the app. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.
